More information about Montecitorio Derthona - Vigneti Massa
With the Vigneti Massa Montecitorio Derthona, a first-class white wine finds its way into the swirling glass. It offers a wonderfully bright, pale yellow color. On the nose, this Vigneti Massa white wine shows all kinds of lemons, ripe apple, mirabelle plums and green apple. As if that were not impressive enough, the maturation in stainless steel also adds notes of mint/melissa.
The Vigneti Massa Montecitorio Derthona presents itself to the wine enthusiast pleasantly dry. This white wine never appears coarse or austere, but rather round and smooth. On the palate, this balanced white wine is characterized by an extremely crisp texture. The finish of this white wine from the Piedmont wine-growing region ultimately captivates with a lovely aftertaste. The aftertaste is also accompanied by mineral nuances from the marl-dominated soils. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Piedmont. Here, the vines sink their roots deep into marl soils. After the harvest, the grapes are brought to the winery without delay. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine ages for several months on the fine lees before it is finally drawn off.
