The Negresco Valtènesi from Cà Maiol shimmers ruby red with deep dark purple reflections in the glass. The bouquet of this cuvée from Groppello, Barbera, Sangiovese and Marzemino delights with notes of all kinds of red fruits such as cherries, currants, raspberries and more. Spicy nuances of tobacco, spices such as cinnamon and clove but also cigar boxes come to mind.

 On the palate, the Cà Maiol Negresco Rosso proves to be both powerful and finesse rich red wine. Harmonious tannins, a beautiful extract and a vital, but not too sharp acidity, make this red wine an experience

Vinification of the Negresco Valtènesi Riviera del Garda of Cà Maiol

For this red wine from the Cà Maiol portfolio, 40% Groppello, 20% Barbera, 20% Marzemino and 20% Sangiovese are used. After harvesting, the grapes are mashed and the must is fermented in a temperature-controlled manner. Finally,  the Negresco Valtènesi from Cà Maiol matures for 18 months in selected French 225 l barriques.
