Lichiani Nero d'Avola Merlot Sicilia DOC - Vaccaro

The Nero d'Avola Merlot from Vaccaro was blended from 70% Nero d'Avola and a 30% share of Merlot. Low yields in the vineyard ensure very extract-rich grapes and therefore intense aromas in the wine. The palate is full of fruit, especially raspberries and other red fruits, such as pomegranate, are a lot of fun in the glass. Soft and fruity on the palate with a subtle hint of wood and noticeable but well-integrated tannins. The finish is wonderfully long.
