More information about Riesling Foravia - Stella
The elegant Riesling Foravia from Stella’s hand comes into the glass with a bright light yellow. Poured into a white wine glass, this Old World white wine presents wonderfully expressive aromas of pear, rounded off by butter and minerals.
On the palate, Stella’s Riesling Foravia starts off wonderfully dry, firm and aromatic. On the palate, the texture of this well-balanced white wine appears delightfully light and crisp. On the finish, this wine from the Piedmont wine-growing region delights with a lovely length. Once again, nuances of pear are revealed. In the aftertaste, mineral notes from the limestone-dominated soils join in.
Vinification of Stella Riesling Foravia
This balanced white wine from Italy is vinified from the Riesling grape variety. In Piedmont, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on limestone soils. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are brought to the press house as quickly as possible. There they are sorted and gently broken open. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by several months of aging on the fine lees before the wine is finally bottled.
