Vinification of the Griesbauerhof Riserva Lagrein
The well-balanced Riserva Lagrein from Italy is a single-varietal wine made from the Lagrein grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Trentino-Alto Adige. Here the vines sink their roots deep into sandy soils. After the grape harvest, the grapes are brought to the winery as quickly as possible. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, the Riserva Lagrein is allowed to harmonize further on the fine lees for 12 months.
