More information about Sabbi Roero Arneis DOCG - San Silvestro
The elegant Sabbi Roero Arneis from the house of San Silvestro shines in the glass with a bright platinum yellow. On the nose, this San Silvestro white wine reveals all kinds of jasmine and apricots. As if that were not already impressive, further aromas such as chamomile are added thanks to maturation in stainless steel.
On the palate, Sabbi Roero Arneis from San Silvestro opens pleasantly dry, firm and aromatic. Some wines are dry on the label, others truly are. This white wine belongs to the latter, as it was bottled with just 0.7 g of residual sugar. Balanced and multi-layered, this crisp and creamy white wine presents itself on the palate. Thanks to its pronounced fruit acidity, Sabbi Roero Arneis reveals itself on the palate as exceptionally fresh and lively. On the finish, this youthful white wine from the Piedmont wine-growing region finally delights with considerable length. Hints of apricot and jasmine once again become apparent.
Vinification of Sabbi Roero Arneis from San Silvestro
The balanced Sabbi Roero Arneis from Italy is a varietal wine made from the Arneis grape variety. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are brought to the winery as quickly as possible. There they are sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, Sabbi Roero Arneis can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
