Balanced and multi-layered, this dense, velvety and powerful red wine presents itself on the palate. On the finish, this wine from the Trentino-Alto Adige wine-growing region finally delights with a lovely length. Hints of blackberry and strawberry jam appear once again. In the aftertaste, mineral notes from the limestone-dominated soils also join in.
Vinification of the Syrah by Vallarom
The basis for this balanced Syrah from Italy is grapes of the Syrah variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Trentino-Alto Adige. Here the vines sink their roots deep into limestone soils. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are quickly brought to the winery. There they are selected and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally bottled.
