More information about Fuflus - Vallarom
In the glass, the Fuflus from the hand of Vallarom reveals a bright purple-red color. Poured into a red wine glass, this Old World red wine presents delightfully complex aromas of plum and blackberry, rounded off by further fruity nuances contributed by maturation in wooden barrels.
On the palate, Vallarom’s Fuflus opens wonderfully dry, grippy and aromatic. On the tongue, this well-balanced red wine is characterized by an incredibly dense, velvety and fleshy texture. The finish of this red wine from the Trentino-Alto Adige wine-growing region, more precisely from Trentino DOC, ultimately delights with a lovely aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets from the limestone-dominated soils.
Vinification of Fuflus by Vallarom
The foundation for the balanced Fuflus from Italy is grapes from the Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah varieties. In Trentino-Alto Adige, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on limestone soils. After hand-picking, the grapes quickly make their way to the winery. There they are selected and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks and small wooden casks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, the elegant Fuflus is matured for another 18 months in oak barriques.
Food recommendation for Fuflus by Vallarom
