Vinification of Ziresi Marzemino Superiore from Salizzoni
This well-balanced red wine from Italy is made from the Marzemino grape variety. In Trentino-Alto Adige, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on clay soils. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are brought to the winery as quickly as possible. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally drawn off.
