More information about Chardonnay Südtirol DOC - Peter Zemmer
The elegant Chardonnay Alto Adige from the pen of Peter Zemmer shimmers a bright golden yellow in the glass. This Peter Zemmer white wine reveals all kinds of blueberries, physalis, gallia melon, guava and star fruit on the nose.
The Chardonnay Alto Adige from Peter Zemmer is perfect for all wine lovers who like it dry. However, it is never austere or brittle, as you would naturally expect from a wine in the upper price range. Thanks to its lively fruit acidity, Chardonnay Alto Adige is wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. The finish of this white wine from the Trentino-Alto Adige wine-growing region is convincing with a good aftertaste.
Vinification of Peter Zemmer Chardonnay Alto Adige
The balanced Chardonnay Alto Adige from Italy is a single-varietal wine made from the Chardonnay grape variety. After the grape harvest, the grapes are transported to the winery as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by ageing on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
Recommendation for Peter Zemmer Chardonnay Alto Adige
This white wine from Italy is best enjoyed moderately chilled at 11 - 13°C. It goes perfectly with pasta with sausage dumplings, lemon-chilli chicken with bulgur or potato pan with salmon.
