The IDEA Rosa di Primitivo from Varvaglione has a bright raspberry red color and cherry-red reflections in the glass. The nose of this Apulian rosé reveals plenty of red berry fruit, especially redcurrant, raspberry and cranberry. Floral nuances and delicate herbal notes of lemon balm and mint perfectly complement the bouquet of the IDEA Rosa di Primitivo.

Vinification of the IDEA Rosa di Primitivo from Varvaglione

The grapes for this top Apulian wine grow in the IGT Puglia zone and are brought to the winery immediately after harvesting, crushed and cold macerated. After several hours on the skins, the juice for the Idea Rosa di Primitivo is pressed and fermented at 15-16°C in stainless steel tanks. Varvaglione's rosé flagship then matures for several months on the lees, which are repeatedly stirred.
