Vinification of the Zavalloni Solaris Sangiovese Di Romagna Superiore

This powerful red wine from Italy is vinified from the Sangiovese grape variety. In Emilia-Romagna, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on sandstone and marl soils. After the harvest, the grapes are brought to the winery as quickly as possible. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
