More information about Trastella Vermentino Toscana IGT - Villa Trasqua
The Villa Trasqua Trastella Vermentino Toscana is a first-class white wine in a glass. It offers a wonderfully bright, light yellow color. This wine also has greenish-yellow reflections in the center. Ideally poured into a white wine glass, this white wine from the Old World presents wonderfully expressive aromas of plum, lilac, morello cherry and violet, rounded off by forest soil and sun-warmed rocks.
This is a genuine quality wine that clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this Italian naturally delights with the finest balance despite its dryness. Excellent taste does not necessarily need sugar. On the tongue, this balanced white wine is characterized by an incredibly melting and crisp texture. The Trastella Vermentino Toscana reveals itself to be wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate thanks to its concise fruit acidity. On the finish, this white wine from the Tuscan wine-growing region finally delights with good length. Once again, there are hints of lavender and morello cherry. Mineral notes from the sand and clay-dominated soil are added to the finish.
Vinification of Villa Trasqua Trastella Vermentino Toscana
This balanced white wine from Italy is made from the Vermentino grape variety. The vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on clay, sand and limestone soils in Tuscany. The Trastella Vermentino Toscana is obviously also influenced by the climate and viticultural style of Tuscany. This Italian wine can literally be described as a wine of the Old World, which presents itself in an extraordinarily impressive way. After harvesting, the grapes are transported to the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally drawn off.
