More information about Vign'Asmara Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT - Bossi Fedrigotti
With the Bossi Fedrigotti Vign'Asmara Vigneti delle Dolomiti, a first-class white wine is poured into the glass. It presents a wonderfully luminous, golden-yellow color. The color of this white wine also shows golden reflexes at its core. When swirling the glass, one can perceive a perfect balance in this white wine, as it neither appears watery nor syrupy or liqueur-like on the glass walls. In the glass, this white wine by Bossi Fedrigotti offers aromas of Mirabelles, Apricots, Nectarines, Mangoes, and Peaches, complemented by other fruity nuances. On the palate, the Vign'Asmara Vigneti delle Dolomiti from Bossi Fedrigotti unfolds beautifully dry, at once firm, and aromatic. Some wines are labeled dry, and others truly are. This white wine belongs to the latter group, as it was filled with only 0.6 g of residual sugar. The texture of this well-balanced white wine presents a wonderfully dense mouthfeel. Thanks to moderate fruit acidity, the Vign'Asmara Vigneti delle Dolomiti caresses with a velvety sensation, without losing freshness at the same time. In the finish, this matured white wine from the Trentino-Alto Adige wine region impresses with good length. Again, hints of nectarine and peach can be detected.
Vinification of the Vign'Asmara Vigneti delle Dolomiti by Bossi Fedrigotti
This balanced white wine from Italy is vinified from the grape varieties Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer. The Vign'Asmara Vigneti delle Dolomiti is a Old World wine in the best sense of the word, as this Italian exudes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underscores the success of wines from the Old World. An influential factor on the ripening of the harvest is also the fact that the Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer grapes thrive under the influence of a warm climate. This is reflected, among other things, in particularly well-ripened grapes and a somewhat higher alcohol content in the wine. After hand harvesting, the grapes are quickly transported to the press house. Here they are sorted and gently crushed. Then, fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks and small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by a maturation for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally bottled.
