Vinification of Stachlburg Baron von Kripp Weissburgunder
This balanced white wine from Italy is organically made from the Pinot Blanc grape variety. When physiological ripeness is ensured, the grapes for the Weissburgunder are harvested exclusively by hand without the use of coarse and minimally selective grape harvesters. After handpicking, the grapes are quickly transported to the winery. Here, they are sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation ends, the Weissburgunder can further harmonize on the fine lees for 6 months.
