When poured into a red wine glass, this red wine from Italy reveals wonderfully complex aromas of sour cherry and redcurrant, rounded off by further fruity nuances contributed by the barrel ageing.

On the finish, this very storable red wine from the Tuscan wine-growing region finally impresses with its considerable length. There are again hints of sour cherry and redcurrant.
Vinification of the Poggio di Sotto Brunello di Montalcino Riserva
This red wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Sangiovese. Only first-class grapes were used for this exceptionally well-balanced single-varietal wine from Poggio di Sotto. After the grape harvest, the grapes are transported to the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in large wooden vats at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the organically produced Brunello di Montalcino Riserva is aged for a few months in oak barrels.
