Il Bruciato Bolgheri DOC 2019 - Guado al Tasso
The Il Bruciato Bolgheri DOC from Guado al Tasso is the Supertuscan top seller of the Antinori vineyard on the Tuscan Mediterranean coast. This red wine presents itself in the glass in an intense ruby red and purple reflexes, on the nose it reveals a fruity and expressive bouquet, reminiscent of red and black berries such as cassis and blackberries, complemented by nuances of cinnamon, sandalwood, cocoa and coffee beans. On the palate, this remarkable red wine from Guado al Tasso is full-bodied, very round and wonderfully pleasant. It is an extremely harmonious red wine, which plays out the strengths of its grape varieties perfectly.
Vinification of Il Bruciato Bolgheri DOC from Guado al Tasso
This red cuvée is vinified from Cabernet 65%, Merlot 20% and Syrah 15%. The selected grapes for the Il Bruchiato come from a series of vineyards with the typical Bolgheri characteristics. Fermentation and maceration take place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. In one batch of Merlot and Syrah, the fermentation temperature is kept low in order to enhance the typical aromas of the variety. The wine then undergoes malolactic fermentation, partly in stainless steel vats and partly in barriques, then the wines from the three grape varieties are brought together in the cuvée. The wine is then aged for 7 months in French oak barriques and then for 4 months in bottles before being put on the market.
