The Wachtstetter Winery is located in Pfaffenhofen, Baden-Württemberg. 

Wachtstetter - Living tradition

It all started with Karl and Ernst - with French surnames Combé. Karl is the great-grandfather and Ernst the grandfather of today's owner Rainer Wachtstetter. The family initially ran a classic mixed agricultural business. But in 1979 the course was set in a new direction. Grandfather Ernst, father Roland and mother Anni strived for their own qualities and so the first bottles were bottled. From 1983, the farm could call 3 hectares of vineyards its own.

And today, in the 3rd generation, Rainer Wachtsetter takes care of the family business. The 3 hectares have become about 20 hectares of vineyards. What has not changed is the high quality standards of the Wachtstetter winery.

Site - Site - Site

The Pfaffenhof vineyards belong to the single vineyard Hohenberg. The warm southern slope of the Heuchelberg has an inclination of up to 65 percent. The highest point of the Pfaffenhofen Hohenberg is at 300 meters.

The grape varieties

Wachtstetter vinifies the following grape varieties, among others:

• Trollinger
• Lemberger
• Pinot Noir
• Riesling
• Pinot Blanc
• Pinot Gris

There is also a distillery and a guest house

During the winter months, high-quality noble distillates from our own meadow orchards are distilled in the distillery. In addition, there are various marc varieties that mature harmoniously in wooden barrels for up to 5 years. As with wine, Rainer Wachtstetter has a high quality standard: "To get the original aroma pure and unadulterated from the fruit."

The Adler Inn has been part of the family business since the beginning of the 20th century and continues to delight all of its guests to this day.
