Vinification of the Viñas del Vero Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot

The starting point for Viñas del Vero's premium and wonderfully balanced Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot cuvée is Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. In Aragon, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay and sandstone. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot is aged for 4 months in American oak barrels.
