Fabelhaft Rosé Douro DOC - Niepoort

Niepoort's Fabelhaft Rosé presents itself in a lively, delicate salmon pink.  The bouquet testifies to great aromatic intensity. Fresh, wild red fruits and beautiful floral notes of white flowers fill the nose. With good structure and full body, driven by a nice acidity, this Portuguese rosé wine spreads on the palate, providing a fresh, intense but at the same time appealing sensation. The very elegant finish is accompanied by red berries and mineral notes.

Vinfication of the Fabulous Rosé

The manually harvested grapes of Fabelhaft Rosé are destemmed, crushed and, after a careful selection, introduced into stainless steel tanks, where they remain for a few hours. The short maceration is followed by the liquid phase with a slow, temperature-controlled fermentation. 

Food Recommendation for the Niepoort Rosé Fabulous

This dry rosé wine from Portugal is perfect with salads, dishes with tuberous vegetables, seafood, light fish dishes and dishes with poultry or white meat.
