Vinification of Emrich-Schönleber Frühtau Monzinger Riesling
The elegant Frühtau Monzinger Riesling from Germany is a varietal wine made from the Riesling grape. The vines grow under optimal conditions in the Nahe region. Here, the vines drive their roots deep into soils of slate. Frühtau Monzinger Riesling is an Old World wine through and through, as this German wine exudes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underscores the success of wines from the Old World. After hand-picking, the grapes are brought to the winery as quickly as possible. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several months on the fine lees before it is finally bottled.
