More information about Légère Cuvée Rot trocken - Deutzerhof

In the glass, the Légère Cuvée Red from Deutzerhof presents a brilliant shimmering purple color. In the glass, this red wine from Deutzerhof shows aromas of morello cherries, plums, black currants, plums and blackberries, complemented by other fruity nuances. This wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with only 6.2 grams of residual sugar. This is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this German wine enchants naturally with all dryness with the finest balance. Aroma does not necessarily need a lot of sugar. On the tongue, this light-footed red wine is characterized by an incredibly light texture. Due to its present fruit acidity, the Légère Cuvée Red is fantastically fresh and lively on the palate. The final of this red wine from the wine-growing region of the Ahr, more precisely from Mayschoß (DE), finally thrills with good reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the soils dominated by loess and slate.

Vinification of the Deutzerhof Légère Cuvée Red

The elegant Légère Cuvée Rot from Germany is a cuvée pressed from the grape varieties Dornfelder, Regent and Spätburgunder. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Ahr region. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of slate and loess. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and large wood at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Légère Cuvée Red is aged for several months in oak barrels.

Food recommendation for the Deutzerhof Légère Cuvée Rot

Enjoy this red wine from Germany best tempered at 15 - 18°C as a companion to leek soup, potato pan with salmon or goose breast with ginger red cabbage and marjoram.
