More information about ST #28 Spätburgunder trocken - Weinhaus Steffen
The barrel-aged ST #28 Pinot Noir from the Mosel winegrowing region shows a bright light red color in the glass. This single varietal German wine presents wonderfully expressive notes of black cherries, black currants, plums and mulberries in the glass. These are joined by hints of roasted almond, toasted barrique and brittle.
This wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with only 4.7 grams of residual sugar. This is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this German wine enchants naturally with all dryness with the finest balance. Aroma does not necessarily need residual sugar. On the palate, the texture of this balanced red wine is wonderfully melting and velvety. Due to its lively fruit acidity, the ST #28 Pinot Noir is fantastically fresh and lively on the palate. The final of this ripening red wine from the wine-growing region of the Mosel finally thrilled with good reverberation.
