More information about Bianchetto Sauvignon Trevenezie IGT - Sacchetto
The Bianchetto Sauvignon Trevenezie from the Veneto wine-growing region presents itself in a brilliantly shimmering light yellow in the glass. This Sacchetto white wine shows all kinds of gooseberries and white currants on the nose. As if that wasn't impressive enough, the stainless steel ageing process adds forest floor, Mediterranean herbs and garrigue to the mix.
This wine is a delight with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with 5 grams of residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine above the 4-euro mark, this Italian naturally delights with the finest balance despite its dryness. Excellent taste does not necessarily need residual sugar. The texture of this light-footed white wine is wonderfully light on the palate. Thanks to its moderate fruit acidity, the Bianchetto Sauvignon Trevenezie has a velvety mouthfeel without lacking freshness. The finish of this youthful white wine from the Veneto wine-growing region impresses with a good aftertaste.
Vinification of the Sacchetto Bianchetto Sauvignon Trevenezie
This white wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Sauvignon Blanc. Only flawless grapes were used for this exceptionally elegant single-varietal wine from Sacchetto. After harvesting, the grapes are transported to the winery as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally drawn off.
