More information about Negroamaro Puglia IGP - Luccarelli
In the glass, the Negroamaro Puglia from Luccarelli offers a dense purple-red color. The first nose of the Negroamaro Puglia reveals nuances of blackberries, mulberries and blackcurrants. The fruity components of the bouquet are joined by notes of barrel ageing and even more fruity, balsamic nuances.
On the palate, Luccarelli's Negroamaro Puglia starts off wonderfully dry, grippy and aromatic. Despite its dry taste, this red wine delights with a juicy melt and finely woven residual sweetness. Thanks to the balanced fruit acidity, the Negroamaro Puglia caresses the palate with a velvety feel without lacking in juicy liveliness.
Vinification of the Luccarelli Negroamaro Puglia
This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Negroamaro. Only the best grapes were harvested for this wonderfully powerful single-varietal wine from Luccarelli. In Apulia, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on clay and sandy soils. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly transported to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
Recommendation for Luccarelli's Negroamaro Puglia
This Italian wine is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C. It goes perfectly with goose breast with ginger-red cabbage and marjoram, spinach gratin with almonds or braised chicken in red wine.
