The Ronchedone Vino Rosso from Cà dei Frati is a remarkable, fascinating red wine cuvée made from Marzemino, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon.
This wine glows a deep ruby red in the glass. The nose delights with expressive aromas of ripe blueberries, pickled sour cherries, delicate balsamic notes and freshly cooked jam. This Italian wine is powerful and energetic with a spicy personality and good acidity on the palate. The finish has a pleasant length and berry nuances.
Vinification of the Cà dei Frati Ronchedone
After the different grape varieties have been harvested, the grapes are taken to the Cà dei Frati winery. The grapes are carefully selected and pressed there. The mash remains on the skins for longer and is then fermented in stainless steel tanks. This red wine is matured in barrique barrels for a total of 14 months and rests in the bottle for 10 months.
