This powerful white wine from Italy is made from the Malvasia Nera, Sangiovese and Trebbiano grape varieties. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Tuscany. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of sedimentary and weathered rock. This Italian wine can be described as an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, with an exceptionally impressive presentation. The grapes for this white wine from Italy are harvested exclusively by hand once optimum ripeness has been ensured. After harvesting, the grapes are quickly taken to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in small oak barrels at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by maturation for several months in oak barriques.
