More information about Cabernet Sauvignon Venezia DOC - Borgo Molino
The Cabernet Sauvignon Venezia from Borgo Molino in Veneto shows a bright, purple-red color in the wine glass. This Borgo Molino red wine reveals all kinds of blackcurrants, morello cherries, blueberries, mulberries and plums on the nose. As if that wasn't already impressive, the ageing in small wooden barrels adds Mediterranean herbs, green peppers and juniper.
This dry red wine from Borgo Molino is just the thing for people who like it absolutely dry. This fleshy and dense red wine is balanced and multi-faceted on the palate. The finish of this mature red wine from the Veneto wine-growing region, Venezia DOC to be precise, is captivating with a beautiful aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets from the clay-dominated soils.
Vinification of the Borgo Molino Cabernet Sauvignon Venezia
This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Cabernet Sauvignon. Only first-class grapes were harvested for this wonderfully balanced single-varietal wine from Borgo Molino. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Veneto. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into clay soils. After the grape harvest, the grapes are transported to the winery as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by maturation for 12 months in oak barrels.
