Vinification of Käfer Montepulciano d'Abruzzo

This balanced red wine from Italy is vinified from the Montepulciano grape variety. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house, where they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by several months of maturation on the fine lees before the wine is finally bottled.
